Tarmacadam ('Tarmac') has traditionally been regarded as a practical, durable and attractive driveway surfacing. It is popular because it is generally cheaper and requires much less maintenance than block paving with no need to weed or resand over the years.
Modern formulations and heavy duty SMA (stone mastic asphalt) ensure a hard wearing surface expected to last for many years under normal domestic conditions.
We can design and construct your drive from scratch, or replace, repair or resurface your existing driveway. A site visit and written quotation is free and we always advise on the best options and specification depending on your requirements.
Block paving for driveways is a popular choice due to the many different colours and almost countless different designs that can be created to suit and enhance each individual property’s appearance.
The use of quality materials and correct preparation is required to ensure not only an attractive, but also a long lasting and hard wearing area.
If properly installed, block paving is easy to maintain and repair. If access to underground services are ever required; it’s easy to reform by just replacing the existing blocks leaving no trace of any repair or disturbance.
Over the years we at Curehome Solutions have been involved with many different block paving projects from driveways to patios and garden paths. With a wide range of experience and expertise, we will provide you with friendly help and advice, ensuring your new driveway or patio perfectly complements the unique features of your home.
Resin bound paving provides a water-permeable surface when laid on a an open grade binder asphalt. The resin bound mixture has open voids across the surface, allowing air to flow freely and surface water to filter through the structure, making it highly suitable for driveways, paths, tree pits and areas prone to standing water. The smooth surface, with no loose stones, is ideal for wheelchair access and tough enough to withstand pressure washing.
We can lay the mixture straight onto your concrete or tarmac drive. We won't need to excavate. This means you get your new real stone gravel drive laid fast, simply and cleanly. We can complete most jobs within 1 or 2 days and the resin only takes a few hours to dry, so you can quickly get back to using your drive the next day.
